private sector, he joined Reliance
Infrastructure in 1995 as the Head
of Corporate HR. The power sector
reforms in India saw him leading
the BSES acquisition of Odisha and
Delhi Distribution companies and
subsequently managing the takeover
of BSES by Reliance. His professional
acumen moved him to the Group
level at Reliance ADA Group where
he played a pivotal role in the de-
merger process of the Reliance Group
as President HR. He was one of
the key resources in guiding the
transformation of Reliance-ADA Group.
For the last seven years, he is at Jindal
Steel & Power as Director-Group HR
leading the people processes in its
