from the publisher’s desk Dear Readers, It gives us immense pleasure to present you the pre event HR Extravaganza 2018 edition of People and Management magazine. We have been getting great feedback on our previous edition on CSR at workplace; various organisations presented their CSR activities and their contribution has helped our readers strengthen their Organizational CSR strategies and served to prompt their seeking engagement with contributors to facilitate programs and interventions leveraging their expertise. Many other organisations want to contribute their write ups on their CSR ventures. We shall soon come out with another edition based on CSR at workplace. This issue touches on topics concerning Great Place to Work® with Prasenjit Bhattacharya, CEO, Great Place to Work®, India, sharing Research Insights – A decade of Building Trust with Employees. For special feature this month, People and Management interviewed Mr. Bhattacharya who spoke about what HR & leadership teams should do differently to make their organisation a Great Place to Work. We are introducing a new section on Books with this edition. We covered the review of Akhyayikas, authored by Rajesh Seshadri. The book is an anthology of one hundred stories from different sources, ranging from ‘Grandmother’s Tales’ to Zen learnings. Each little story in the book is intended to leave a defi nite imprint on your subconscious mind, changing the way you think and behave, by instilling new ideas, relating them to concepts, and creating new values and morals. We’re sure it will inspire you to greater heights. We have another a great news for you.
