Improve!

Improve on what you have already done and continue to think of other ways to help keep your resolutions. Keep expanding on the goals you set out to complete last year and if you completed them already, set new ones or build upon what you have already accomplished. Maybe you have been keeping a journal of ideas, goals, or milestones you want to reach. A great way to improve on that would be to have a video journal, set goal with friends to help hold you accountable or set rewards for yourself when you meet those goals. Some goals like kicking a bad habit, maybe you gave up smoking, those goals usually have an end but a way to improve on them is finding another part of your life where you could make a healthier change, maybe riding a bike instead of driving or giving up sugary drinks for water.

Putting into practice these three principles can apply to so many different things like trying to lose weight, kicking a bad habit, and even life and career goals. The possibilities are endless and as long as you set the goal, stay dedicated to them, and learn to improve on them, anything is possible. It is important to remember that real change and results come from being consistent over time, not from starting anew whenever we have a setback. If you want to make this year work for you it's time to take what you've been doing and vamp it up, make this your best year yet!
