2017 Bylaws and Annual Business Meeting

by PSNA President Mark Crider , PhD , MSN , RN
The proposed PSNA bylaw changes will be addressed at the 2017 PSNA Annual Business Meeting at Camelback Resort , Tannersville . Please take the time to familiarize yourself with the proposed changes and how they will positively impact the association on a local and statewide level . What you will find in the proposed changes is the desire to change our structure from a district model to a less formal model that will allow local activity in any number of areas of interest . PSNA will be better able to support this new model at the state level . It allows for resources to utilize a state-of-the-art technological management system ( Systems Engine Optimization , SEO ) to improve statewide communication , transparency in governance , efficiency in networking , and better data collection . All members have an opportunity to discuss and vote on the proposed bylaw changes during the meeting on October 27 , 2017 from 3:15-3:30 ( Q & A ) and 3:30-5 ( meeting ). For talking points to the Bylaws , visit the Nurse Insider page at www . psna . org . I look forward to seeing you there .
