PDAIS Welcomes New President and CEO
Pennsylvania Dental Association Insurance Services welcomes Richard B. Bell, CIC,
as its new President and Chief Executive Officer.
Rich graduated from Penn State University in 1989 with a BS in Insurance. After graduation, he immediately joined
Bell Insurance, Inc. At that time, Bell Insurance was a three-person operation handling $1,500,000 in insurance
premiums. Over the next 25 years, Rich helped grow the business to five locations with more than 25 employees
and close to $20,000,000 in insurance premiums.
When PDAIS acquired Bell Insurance in 2014, Rich took on the role of President of Bell and continued to manage
the Bell side of the business. He is eager to bring his years of insurance experience to PDAIS.
“I am very honored and excited by the opportunity to run PDAIS/Bell Insurance.
There is tremendous potential to grow the business into a powerhouse
operation that will benefit the Pennsylvania Dental Association for years
to come,” he said. My two main goals for PDAIS are firstly, to work with
insurance companies to put in place an association health care plan
for member dentists to provide competitively-priced health care for
both themselves and their staff. Secondly, the re-focusing of PDAIS as
a sales-driven operation with the sole purpose of saving member
dentists money with ALL of their insurance needs – business policies,
workers’ compensation, home, auto, personal umbrella,
health and disability.”
