MOM-n-PA is Making a Difference
The leads of each of our 34 departments and their volunteer teams have been essential to making each of our missions a success by living and ensuring that every volunteer understands and follows our vision .
Our vision reflects what we really think and care about and I believe it is powerful . Each and every volunteer position and department is essential to the success of our mission . The “ secret ” of our success is our great leaders and our volunteers .
Our vision for the MOM-n-PA mission is to serve others and make a difference by :
n Treating all patients with dignity and respect n Putting volunteers in a position to have a meaningful and fun experience n Following our core values ! ( In rank order ) Safety - our safety and our patient ’ s safety Health Doing the most good for the most people Having fun
The exit interviews from our patients speak to our success . Here are a few examples of the comments that patients made following their care at our MOM-n-PA mission in Erie :
“ Thank you so much for the work done today – couldn ’ t afford on my own . Everyone was so wonderful ”
“ Great care , great people … truly unbelievable ! Thank you !”
“ Thank you so much for helping me . This is really a nice program . God bless . You guys are truly appreciated .”
“ One of the most excellent experiences of my life ”
“ It was fantastic . Everything moved smoothly . The volunteers were excellent .”
“ Amazing , thank you for my new smile !”
These reactions from our patients are how we measure success . Hope to see you at our next mission in 2018 !
