Promotion highlights the
benefits of tap water

Our old friends the McGrinn and Smiley twins, along
with their dog, K-9, trickled in for National Children’s
Dental Health Month (NCDHM) to promote the
American Dental Association’s (ADA) 2017 theme
“Choose Tap Water for a Sparking Smile.”
The PDA Central Office contacted more than 1,500
schools to distribute our electronic lesson plan kits,
which contained an informational piece geared toward
third-grade students, classroom activities, coloring
sheets and interactive games. Complimentary posters
were distributed to dental offices as well as many
schools across the state.
