We attended a lot of significant fundraisers in 2018 – all to good effect. PADPAC attended the following fundraisers this year: 1 4 Rep. Marcy Toepel, the Majority Caucus Chair. She conducts all Republican Caucus meetings and notifies members when bills they are sponsoring are scheduled for a House vote. Sen. John Blake. He was helpful in securing Senate passage of SB 373. JANUARY 2 FEBRUARY House Republican Campaign Committee (HRCC) contribution to the House Republican Caucus. The Republicans are currently in the Majority in the House and Senate. Sen. Bob Mensch, Caucus Chair. He presides over Republican caucus meetings to discuss bills and amendments and to develop caucus strategy. He helped in the Senate to pass SB 373. Rep. Steve Barrar. He is a long time friend of PDA. He has helped us in the past and he will help in the House to pass SB 373. Rep. Stan Saylor, Appropriations Chair. He has been a stalwart friend of organized dentistry. If SB 373 passes he will have done the lion’s share of the work in the House. 3 MARCH Rep. Judy Ward. She is running for the Eichelberger Senate seat. Sen. Eichelberger will be retiring. We are supporting her early. Rep. Karen Boback. She is a long time PDA friend. Her son is a dentist in California. Bryan Cutler, the current House Majority Whip (gathers votes). He is the likely House Majority Leader for 2019-20. Rep. Tom Murt.
