As dentists I know we tend to be a bit particular. Whether it’s the way we do our crown preps or the way we clean our carpets, we like things a certain way, and I am no different. Unfortunately life does not always allow for everything to be just the way we want it to be. For me that was one of the hardest lessons in the transition from youth to adulthood, from associate to owner, a nd from single woman to family life. But just because life can’t be perfect all the time doesn’t mean it can’t be really good. From one new parent and new business owner to the next, “Hang in there!” It gets better and the rewards far outweigh the negatives. Cut yourself some slack. Focus on the important things you can do and the rest will fall into place.
