Michael McCarthy named Vice President and appointed to Board of Directors Michael McCarthy has been promoted to Vice President and appointed to our Board of Directors. Mike is responsible for the continued growth and success of our Florida operations through the management of client relationships and business development efforts. Jennifer Laning joins International Bridge Conference Executive Committee Jennifer Laning, Associate Vice President and Bridge Inspection Practice Leader at Pennoni, has been elected to the International Bridge Conference (IBC) Executive Committee. The IBC is a leading arena for the bridge industry to share technical papers, participate in workshops, and network and is presented by the Engineers’ Society of Western Pennsylvania. Office Director News: Daniel Barbato to lead Newark, DE office and Brian Fischbach to lead Pittsburgh, PA office Our Newark, DE and Pittsburgh, PA offices both have added new Office Directors. Daniel Barbato will serve as the firm’s Newark, DE Office Director. His background includes more than 20 years of experience in the design, permitting, construction management, maintenance and operation of water and wastewater treatment plants, distribution systems, drainage systems, pumping stations, storage tanks, collection systems, production wells, and wastewater disposal systems. Brian L. Fischbach will serve as the firm’s Pittsburgh, PA Office Director. Brian has nearly 30 years of project management and leadership experience in the civil and municipal engineering, solid waste, energy and site development sectors. Market Sector Leads Tom Frederick and Rich Butala were appointed as Market Sector Leads for our Water/Wastewater and Sustainability efforts respectively. Tom serves as Director of Water/Wastewater and Associate Vice President and is responsible for the overall coordination of the company's engineering services to clients within the drinking water and wastewater industry, to include reuse water and water resources. Rich serves as Vice President and Strategic Growth Principal out of our Winter Haven, FL office and is responsible for the firm's business development and strategic expansion in Florida and other designated areas within Pennoni's geographic footprint. 6 | PENNONI Winter Haven, FL office expands with Senior Engineer Hires: Jim Hall and Don DeBerry Our Winter Haven, FL office added two Senior Engineers: Jim Hall and Don DeBerry. Jim has more than 20 years of experience, specifically in the design and implementation of systems integration and controls for municipal projects, design and construction of major pumping and mechanical systems for water and wastewater applications. Don has more than 35 years of management, design, construction and environmental experience in the transportation industry. As a Senior Traffic Engineer, he will be responsible for providing project management and traffic and transportation engineering services to our existing clients in Florida, as well as facilitating new client relationships and projects. Delray Beach, FL Office gains new Office Director and Senior Engineer Our Delray Beach, FL office gained a new Office Director and Senior Engineer. Jeremy Case relocated from our Clearwater, FL office to serve as the new Office Director. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Florida and Iowa, and a licensed Structural Engineer in Hawaii with more than six years of experience engaged in the structural design of buildings and infrastructure projects as part of multidisciplinary teams. Bob Selinsky was promoted to Senior Engineer and has more than 18 years of experience, specifically in the structural design of large and small buildings and is a Professional Engineer and Special Inspector of Threshold Buildings in the state of Florida. He will oversee all design and construction administration services.
