the original TR7wf series with a
Bluetooth feature designed to
improve connectivity between
data loggers and mobile devices
such as smartphones and
tablets. The new TR-7wb is ideal
for temperature and humidity
monitoring, and designed for
people who require a broad range
of measurement tasks. Recorded
data can automatically be
uploaded to T&D’s free of charge
WebStorage Service, which is
accessible anywhere and any
time by computer, smartphone or
tablet via the mobile ThermoApp
connection.
The ThermoApp has also been
redesigned with a new look and
easier to use interface. “T&D
Thermo” enables the use of
mobile devices for viewing data
recorded by TR-7wb/nw series
data loggers, as well as direct
communication with the TR-
71wb, TR-72wb and TR-75wb. The
simplicity of these applications
allows uncomplicated and cost-
effective protection of various
goods and processes, for example,
in public buildings, warehousing
of sensitive products or the
supervision of laboratories and
refrigerators.

MOCVD Processes Temperature Sensing

Gains for LED Production
The UV 400 and UVR 400 pyrometers by
LumaSense Technologies are the latest
generation of non-contact temperature
measurement instrumentation for Metal
Organic Chemical Vapor Deposition (MOCVD)
processes in the growing LED industry.
These highly accurate instruments are in a
unique position to help manufacturers using
MOCVD improve efficiency and reduce waste
in their LED manufacturing process.
Using a center wavelength in the UV
spectrum (400 nm) these pyrometers enable
to measure real wafer surface temperature,
while traditional pyrometers are only capable
to measure the susceptor/pocket temperature
under the wafer.
This allows the most accurate and repeatable
control of the wafer temperature which e.g. in
LED production is critical to the final product
wavelength and manufacturing yields. measurement of fast processes. True photon-
counting instrumentation guarantees the best
achievable signal to noise ratio and stability.
The wide temperature range of 650 to
1300 °C allows for measurement of various
applications such as GaN buffer layer growth
or multiple quantum well growth. The fast
