UTC SWINDON TO CREATE NEW
EXHIBITION VALVE!
VALVES & FLOW CONTROL
A group of 4 students studying for their BTEC
Level 3 in Engineering, have been invited to
work alongside members of the RotaVal team
to design and create an exhibition valve with
moving parts.
The HDM150 valve will be used for exhibitions
by RotaVal and the Gericke Group around the
world and will also be used for training of new
staff, agents and distributors.
As the Chair of Governors at UTC Swindon,
RotaVal’s MD Beverley Ford is a strong
advocate of workplace based education and
is thrilled that the students are going to be a
part of this project.
We are looking forward to seeing and
exhibiting the finished product next summer.
