Full steam ahead with help from Riello
Riello has donated an RL34 oil burner to the Internal Fire Museum in Cardigan for use in the first of its steam halls . The burner is fitted to a Beel VFB boiler donated by Cochran UK .
The Internal Fire Museum was founded in 2003 to cover the history and use of large engines in the 20th Century . The first of the steam halls was opened in April 2018 . The Museum ’ s Paul Evans commented : “ The steam hall has seen a fantastic show of help from companies such as Riello and Cochran .
Without the generous assistance of these companies the museum would not have been able to complete the project on schedule .”
The RL Series of two-stage burners covers a firing range from 154kW to 2700kW .

Major hospital acts to ensure continuity of heating in the event of boiler system failure
A major UK hospital has implemented an emergency contingency plan to ensure continuity of heating and hot water to wards , operating theatres and offices in the event of failure of its primary boiler system .
The FM company responsible for building services on the large site has contracted Watkins Hire to provide a high efficiency standby boiler system to replace the main boiler in the event of failure , under the hire specialist ’ s Temperature Control Emergency Planning Services ( TCEPS ) scheme . Following site surveys to assess the requirement , Watkins proposed installation of a 3000kW MTHW boiler and associated fuel package .

HANDING OVER THE TORCH AT G P BURNERS
Swindon based combustion equipment manufacturer , G P Burners ( CIB ) LTD , has appointed Daniel Goulding to the post of Managing Director .
He replaces Jim Spearing , who is retiring after nearly 40 years in the post , during which he oversaw the acquisition of the company by Italian manufacturer , CIB Unigas S . p . A .
Daniel ( 33 ) has a BA in Business Management from the University of Gloucestershire . After graduating , he retrained as a commercial electrical engineer , before joining G P Burners in 2011 . During his time with the company , he has acquired a broad range of industry experience in a number of roles , most recently as a commissioning engineer .
