EDITORS CHOICE Denso Stainless Band is a customer focussed leading supplier of stainless coil processed products serving many sectors including automotive, building and petrochemical industries worldwide. Winn & Coales Denso Tank Base Protection System is being used at the Isle of Grain National Grid site on four of their LNG storage tanks. The installation work was carried out by contractors JPV Painters of Brentwood. Stainless Band have a dedicated multi-lingual team, which is essential when working in the International marketplace. The Denso Tank Base Protection System is flexible enough to move with the tank when it gets filled and emptied and provides a tough outer armoring. Densyl Mastic was then applied in the gap between the tank and the base. This not only provides a sealant between the concrete and tank base to prevent entrapment of water but also a smooth profile when applying the following Denso Hi-Tack Tape. A single layer of Denso Ultraseal RT Tape was applied and then finally a topcoat.
