Recently the EU decided to enforce one of its main directives across the entire grid, from Spain through to the UK. Article 8 of the EU Energy Efficiency Directive states that individual member states across the domain are required to enforce movements towards reducing their impact on the environment, look in to ways they can reduce their impact on it and investigate modern technologies to see if they can also reduce what they use.
