Santa Fe holds a special place in my
heart—Peachy took us on girls’ trips
there where we shopped, ate delicious
food and hiked. The whole family
celebrated Peachy and Rogie’s fiftieth
wedding anniversary at Santacafé with
a fabulous soiree.

Being fairly close to Texas, Santa Fe
was always on the top of the list for
family trips. We loved visiting the
market in the square where you could
find local artists selling woven baskets,
turquoise squash blossom necklaces,
silver concho belts, handmade linens
and kachina dolls. Peachy loved state-
ment jewelry, and her large turquoise
ring from Santa Fe was one of her
signature pieces.
A Southwestern gem, Santa Fe’s rich
culture has influenced architecture,
cuisine and the arts. As one of the larg-
est arts centers in the country, Santa Fe
boasts over 200 galleries, 10 museums
