GARDENS
The family loves to work hard and play
hard. According to Jennifer, “When it
is time to relax, they want to be outside
enjoying their surroundings with their
young son. Family is very important
to them, and they wanted a space that
could accommodate their guests with
room to play.” Favorite spots are the spacious pool area and guesthouse, which
overlook the marsh and river. A variety
of pots feature cool weather annuals
such as delphinium, pansies, snapdragons, dianthus, foxglove and anemone.
Like this riverfront home and garden,
Savannah’s historic squares boast
beautiful green spaces, live oaks
and other features that make them
all unique. As Jennifer concludes,
“With so many courtyards, hidden
gardens and sprawling grounds, we
can’t think of a better place to share
our love of gardening.” Whether you
are enjoying Savannah’s more public
spaces or peeking into a private garden, this “Old South” city is full of
beauty and charm. n
