Barbecue, brisket, tacos and “quirky” always come to mind when I think
of Austin. These recipes, which offer a little twist on the traditional
barbecue, brisket and tacos, are some of my family’s favorites. Enjoy
the brisket on the day it is made with your favorite sides, and prepare
the salad the following day. The shrimp can be served as a salad, but it
is also delicious served taco-style in flour tortillas.
