LASH EXTENSIONS AND TINTING If you are willing to spend the time and money,
you can look glam all the time with lash tinting or lash extensions. Lash tinting,
which helps the blonde lash gals out there, is simply coloring the lashes. Lash
extensions are applied to your own lashes with a medical-grade glue. I had two
friends try this, and let me tell you, it looks beautiful. It is a painstakingly long
process for the initial application (about two hours), and then you need a fill-in
(about every three weeks) as your lashes grow and naturally shed. The downside,
besides the cost and time, is that lash extensions require you to be diligent about
not rubbing your eyes or using oily products which can cause the glue to break
down. The end result, however, can also take years off your face—it is pretty
amazing. Its lifting effect helps with hooded or droopy eyes, and best of all, you
look great without a stitch of eye makeup on. n
