NEXT TO A NEGRONI
This drink is a riff of a traditional
Negroni. Aged gin adds depth of
flavor, and complexity comes from
the Frinet Branca and Cynar.
2 ounces Cardinal Barrel Rested Gin
(Aged)
½ ounce Frinet Branca (Italian Amaro)
½ ounce Cynar
½ ounce Sweet Vermouth
(Italian, if possible)
Orange rind (for garnish)
Stir ingredients in ice, strain into glass
of fresh ice and stir. Garnish with
orange rind, give a squeeze to release
the oil over the drink. Serve.
