Jane Sloan, a freelance
floral designer specializing
in house flowers and weddings, is a North Carolina
native who raised her two
children in Nashville.
Jane serves on the Advisory Board for flower
magazine as well as the
City House opened its
doors before the explosion of new places to eat
within that zip code. It is
built in a former sculptor’s studio in a residential neighborhood,
Germantown. The pizza
with homemade ham
never disappoints nor
does the frico. The pastas, fish and meats are
all fantastic. Save room
for dessert—just the best
panna cotta.
Though this is a chain,
the tacos are great! Fried
chicken with lime jalapeño
mayonnaise is a favorite
along with the guacamole.
