Fitness on the Run WRITTEN BY Daniel Ancheta What is the one thing we never seem to have enough of? Time. We fill our days with “must-dos” and we all have an abundance of those! Here is a way to sneak in a great workout, regardless of where you might be—at home or on the road in a hotel room. You can get in a workout by performing body-weight exercises, but you can add variety by using the following two pieces of inexpensive equipment. In addition to variety, the equipment can help you take your workout to the next level. 1. Closed Loop Fitness Band: These bands are approximately 41 inches long and be easily stored in your bag. They can be purchased at the following sites: or 2. Furniture Sliders: You may recognize this equipment as an easy way to move furniture. In the fitness industry, they are called “val slides.” They are much less expensive if you purchase them at EZ Sliders. The following workout can be done in a short amount of time and in a small space. It doesn’t get much more convenient! Go through both of these routines 2 to 3 times, moving as quickly as possible. How to Use the Closed Loop Fitness Band BAND CURL: 30 REPS Loop the band around your feet and grasp it at shoulder width with your palms down.
