guide is compiled by PDA’s New Dentist Committee.
The guide has been updated for 2016 and includes

• insurance information
• regulatory agencies
• employee information
and much more!
Although the guide is intended as a resource to help
recent graduates transition from dental school to daily
dental practice, it contains information that is relevant
for dentists in all stages of their careers.

SPECIAL MEMBERSHIP OFFER
In 2015, Pennsylvania was identified by the American
Dental Association (ADA) as one of five states with an
opportunity for membership growth. Nonmembers
who join are eligible to receive a one-time, 50 percent
reduction on the ADA and PDA levels of their dues. By
the end of the 2015 year, 117 total new members joined
for this offer.
This special membership offer will continue to be
available to eligible nonmembers who join in 2016
and 2017.

This “speed interviewing” event
will welcome up to 20 senior dental
students, residents or new dentists
in the Pittsburgh area and up to 20
job providers. Each job seeker will
interview with each provider for
approximately five minutes. The
event is open to members and fourthyear dental students only.
