PV Chamber Report

November is shaping up to be quite a busy time for us at the Chamber . Of course as the holiday season approaches we are planning for those special events that are a part of our wonderful community holiday traditions . But there are a few new things that are guaranteed to keep everyone active and enjoying the season .
Our Northern Arizona Suns open their season on November 4 at the Prescott Valley Event Center . So many different ticket options are available and they have kicked up the entertainment quotient with adding special event nights and great kid / family friendly Sunday programs . Visit : nazsuns . com for player information , ticket options and all the great activities as we enter the new season of great basketball .
November also brings our wonderful Flying High Turkey Drive to benefit the Yavapai Food Bank . We are so blessed here in PV to have a community that takes care of each other and gives . We are excited to have our partners with us including the Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority , the Prescott Valley Police Department , National Wild Turkey Federation , our Chamber Board and Ambassadors , the Bradshaw Mountain High School Bears , Pepsi , Yavapai Food Band and our amazing host
Fryʼs ! Donate a turkey or two on Mon ., Nov . 21 between 12-6pm to help others in our community have that wonderful traditional Thanksgiving dinner .
The Veteranʼs Day parade is on Saturday ,
Nov . 11 around the courthouse and the Lionʼs Christmas tree lot opens on November 25 at the corner of Glassford Hill and Florentine .
We are very thankful to live in this great town , area and state and wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving . AND … donʼt forget Valley of Lights opens on Thanksgiving night at 6pm .
JUST ADDED – Holiday Stroll through Valley of Lights Tuesday , November 28 from 6 to 9pm . Valley of Lights will be closed to all vehicles that one night only for a very special view of the lights by walking the 1 mile roadway . There will be carolers , refreshments and Santa at the end . And as with any other night there is no admission fee but donations are greatly appreciated .
