PGCC Women’s Golf News
What are the ODDS?
It is not too early to start purchasing items for the Yavapai
Food Bank Drive during the pgcc Festival of Lights which will
be December 10! I’m going to buy something every time I go
to the grocery store so I’m ready to give plenty!
November thoughts….we are thankful for our blessings, thankful
for our family and friendships, thankful for our health, thankful
for our golf club, thankful for our ability to play this wonderful
game year round, and oh so thankful for the chance for that
illusive “Hole –in-One” four times every round!!!! WHAT???
Yup, I think about it most on #3…perhaps that is why the pond
has swallowed up so many of my balls!!! Speaking of that Holein-One chance, some statistics made me feel better about my lack
of attaining that amazing feat so far… The odds that a PGA tour
player will hit a Hole-in-One = 1 in 3,000! The estimated odds
an average player will ace a hole = 1 in 12,000! 12,000!!!!!
Perspective like those makes me want to get on to the stats for
the ladies last month…
