Date & Time:
Pursuant to Section 7.0 of the POA Bylaws, a General Membership meeting of the
Board of Directors was held Wednesday, October 7, at 6:00 PM at the Property
Owners Association Activity Center.
Officers and Quorum:
The President, Ken Jeffries, opened the meeting at 6:00 PM and the Secretary, Brian
Biggs, took Minutes. The following additional Board Members were present: Dave
Paulin, Don Grad, Mary Kloeppel, Gracelyn Palmer, Don McGlamery, and Stephen
Gonzalez (arrived during the meeting). Bob Heise was not present.
Minutes:
Brian Biggs made a Motion to accept the December 3, 2014 General Membership
Meeting Minutes without reading them. The Motion was seconded by Gracelyn
Palmer and passed unanimously.
Treasurer’s Report:
Don McGlamery informed the membership that the POA will likely end the year
with a surplus due to a higher than anticipated number of resales and conservative
spending practices.
Nominations:
Don Grad reported nominations for the two open Director positions: Gracelyn Palmer
and Mary Kloeppel. Mr. Grad asked if there were any further nominations from those
in attendance. None were offered. The nominations were closed.
Guest Speaker and Town Hall – Tom Thurman:
County Supervisor Tom Thurman was in attendance along with several representatives
from various county offices including: Joe Huot, Verl Cook, Byron Jaspers, Doug
Federico (County Roads), Steve Mauk (Development Services), Darlene Pakard
(Central Yavapai Fire District), [
