Bylaw Amended
Please make note that the PBCBA Board of
Directors voted in favor of a change to Article
II, Section 3B of the bylaws on February 26,
2020. This change permits Retired PBCBA
members to remain members, although they
are no longer members of the Florida Bar.

Retired Membership - A retired membership
shall be available to all attorneys and judges
who were in good standing with The Florida
Bar, or in other states, at the time he or she
retired from the active practice of law or the
bench. No individual who: (a) was disbarred;
(b) had a disciplinary revocation of his or her
bar license; or (c) was facing discipline that
may have caused the individual to not be
in good standing with The Florida Bar, or in
other states, had the individual not retired or
gone inactive, shall be able to be a member
under the retired membership qualification
of Affiliate Membership. We welcome your
