Open Classrooms Week
This is a unique opportunity to access one of the best kinds of CPD available. @TeacherToolkit, Ross Morrison McGill wrote about it in his recent book, '100 Ideas for Secondary Teachers.'
He states that, 'The benefits of the open classroom are many. They include promoting reflectionand evaluation of your teaching, increasing collaboration and trust among teachers and across the curriculum, support and advice from a peer who understands the demands of the classroom.'
In each open classroom week, there will be opportunities for you to visit colleagues, advertise what's on in your classroom, provide feedback and contribute to our daily blog.
You won't need more than 15 minutes spare to pop into a room nearby and get a taste of what's going on. Whether it be to gain some teaching tips, see a colleague in action or reflect on your practice, this week has a great deal to offer your professional practice.
