There are some simple ways in which you can promote the importance of failure in learning:
- Model failure yourself. Show students that it's ok to make mistakes as you make them too!
- Occasionally set 'impossible' tasks for your learners. This is something they will all fail at but they can then discuss what has been learnt from the process.
