One Million in Scholarships Milestone
The PHSC Foundation celebrated an
exciting milestone during the 2017-18
academic year, awarding over
$1 million in scholarships for the first
time in the Foundation’s history. A
record number of PHSC students
benefited from the Foundation’s
numerous scholarship funds, 235 of
which are endowed and will continue
to assist students for many years
to come.
Thanks to generous Foundation
donors, 975 students were able
to fulfill their educational dreams
receiving a total of $1,096,540 in
scholarships. These funds went to
deserving students who are the first
in their families to attend college,
students who graduated in the top
10 percent of their graduating class,
those returning to college later in life,
and many others who were able to
pursue their goal of earning a
college degree.
The PHSC Foundation is grateful for
the many individuals, organizations,
and community partners who
make a lasting impact in the lives
of our students. Thank you for
your investment in PHSC and your
dedication to our community.
