throughout the summer of 2017. A mascot
committee, led by PHSC Athletic Director
Steve Winterling, made the final name
selection in October 2017. After months
in development, Boomer took shape as
Student Life and Leadership and Marketing
and Communications went to work building
Flag Day
the new PHSC spirit identity and designing
the mascot character, who now appears at
many college and athletic events.
