Give some background about yourself? Hi Party Time Magazine. Well, it’s been quite a journey. I grew up in the Punk Rock scene, was on my own by seventeen, spent time living on the streets in California, jumped freight trains across the United States and fell in love with Trance back in 1997 after hearing Christopher Lawrence’s “Rise” album. A great person I met in Hollywood took me in, helped me get my life sorted and turned me on to Dance music. Trance saved my life. I can honestly say that… Who are some of the musical geniuses that have inspired you to make and play music? Wow, there are so many! For the Trance I’m involved in it’s always been about the underground. The Punk Rock counter culture was never about the mainstream and I grew up listening to bands like Conflict, The Pist, Total Chaos and Antischism. For Dance music, those same moments I found in Punk I also found in Trance. Christopher Lawrence was a leader of that movement and I instantly connected with it. Along with him there was Transa, Nicholas Bennison, Jay Selway and more, recently this emerging Psytrance sound being led by the likes of Vibe Tribe, System Nipel, Audiotec and Faders to name a few. There is this great energy that combines psy and melodic Trance. These guys have it nailed down and it’s so refreshing to hear! Tell us about some of the gigs that you have played, and about some of the DJs that you have shared stage Www.PartyTimeMagazine.com
