of being a female DJ/Producers? A lot of times the female DJ/Producer is not taken as seriously as their male counterpart. There is a stigma that the female DJ is hired to stand behind the tables, switch the songs and look hot. Unfortunately that does happen from time to time, but this is obviously not always the case. I have had the privilege to share the stage with plenty of talented female DJ/Producers. I believe whether male or female, people should just focus on the music itself and if he or she can deliver. Well I’m glad to say that you are truly talented and hope everyone has a chance to see you play live at some point. Flux Pavillion, Zomboy, Skrillex, Rusko, Knife Party, Dada Life, Goldfrapp and Miss Kitten. Did we all just love those Fisher Price instruments… Tell us about some of the challenges Where are you currently playing, and tell us about some of your releases? I am a resident DJ in Los Angeles mainly spinning in the Hollywood/West Hollywood area right now. I spin at Exchangle LA, Bardot at Avalon, Colony, Tru, Blok, Eden, and Dim Mak to name a few. It's a great feeling to mix my releases along with many other talented DJ/Producers' tracks and see the crowd get so crazy! I also throw in some of my unreleased tracks and test them by gagging the crowd's reaction. Thankfully, I have had a great response to my music thus far amongst my peers and just recently have had companies/ people interested in licensing, publishing, and remixing some of my tracks. I'm definitely excited to see what is in store. I also have a tour in the works. Sounds like you are playing at all the right places. If you could choose to collaborate Www.PartyTimeMagazine.com
