What is your job at PV ? C . N . A . How long have you worked at PVHCF ? 6 months What is your favorite thing about Parkview ? I love the residents here at Parkview . I also love my coworkers ! What is your favorite thing to do when you are not at work ? I like watching Netflix and sleeping . I also enjoy hanging out with friends .

Jessie “ Dale ” Jenkins was born on Feb . 1 , 1936 , in Windyville , Mo . His parents , Elvin and Ruby , were farmers and raised cows , sheep , and hogs . Dale has four siblings ; one sister , Joanne , and three brothers , Darrel , Duane , and Billy .
Dale remembers his family going hunting and fishing together often . They enjoyed spending time outdoors . He also attended school in a one-room schoolhouse . Dale had 12 classmates in his senior class so , “ everybody knew everybody .” Dale was married , but has been a widow for a long time .
After school , Dale moved to Wichita , Kan ., and began working at the Cessna Aircraft plant . He worked at the plant building airplanes for 30 years . Dale then moved to the Buffalo area and began farming . He worked on his 160-acre farm where he had black and white dairy cattle . He also raised Walker Coonhounds , which are his pride and joy . Dale ’ s favorite hound was named , Lead . He and Lead won several coonhound competitions together .
Throughout the years , Dale has enjoyed coon hunting and fishing . He loved riding his horse , Patsy , who was a red roan . “ She was a beautiful horse with four white socks and a white blaze on her forehead ,” said Dale . He would ride her around his farm when checking his cattle . Dale has also enjoyed going to auctions and rodeos .
Dale has been at Parkview Healthcare Facility for just over six months . He enjoys playing bingo , drinking coffee , and visiting with family and friends , who stop by often .
