Meet : Katina Willard Staff of the Month
What is your job at PV ? PTA - Physical Therapy Assistant How long have you worked at PVHCF ? I have been with CMH for 19 years and at PV 3 months . What is your favorite thing about Parkview ? The people ! I have enjoyed getting to know my patients and my coworkers . What is your favorite thing to do when you are not at work ? Spend time with my family . I have a 16-year-old daughter and a 13-year-old son .

Irene Cope was born on Feb . 10 , 1933 , in Webster County , Mo . She was welcomed by parents Charley and Vergie McCulley . Irene had three siblings . Her two sisters were named Mildred and Maxine , and her brother was named Robert . Irene ’ s parents were farmers and her father also did carpentry work on the side .
Irene attended school in Hartville , Mo . “ It was a small school and everyone knew everyone ,” said Irene . Throughout her childhood , Irene loved riding horses and playing games . Irene met her husband Lavern Cope at school and they were married on Nov . 7 during a small home ceremony . Lavern was an insurance salesman for many years and Irene was a homemaker while raising their five children . After the children were grown she worked in real estate . Lavern and Irene have five children : Steve ; Michael ; Keith ; Sharon ; and Janice . She has 10 grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren .
Throughout the years Irene shared that her family loved playing games and working jigsaw puzzles together . They also enjoyed taking family vacations to California and their favorite trip was to Disneyland .
Irene ’ s hobbies include doing embroidery work and quilting . She passed on her trade to one of her daughters and has enjoyed teaching her . Irene also loves to read , listen to music , and play games . Since moving to Parkview , Irene continues to enjoy these things along with meeting new friends .
