families, medical evaluations, and victim support. The CAC states that Parker County law enforce- ment investigated over 150 cases in which children were listed as the victims in 2016. In the same year, Child Protective Services in Parker County received 725 reports with allegations of child physical abuse or child sexual abuse. With stats like these, this charity is in constant need of donations. Parker Paws is a newer charity to our event, but a much needed one. Founded in 2007, this charity helps rescue and re-home hundreds of pets, most from local animal shel- ters, with many that need veteri- nary care. This non-profit relies on donations to help homeless pets find loving homes through a foster program. The foster pets are spayed/ neutered, vaccinated and micro- chipped prior to adoption, and are all done with donated money.
