tunities through shooting sports. “I have shot with
amazing athletes including several Olympic athletes
and USA National Team members,” He said. Wyatt
loves to shoot and the challenges that he faces are to
keep getting better, and how he has a lot of fun with
his shooting friends.
Another difficult obstacle he has overcome is
his mental game/focus. “When my mental game is
not on track and it is affecting my focus and performance,” he explained. “Competing at this level
where only one target can make the difference is
challenging and requires a lot of focus and the ability to get back on track when things are not working
like you hoped.”
His plan for the future is to continue shooting at 4-H events, and to be competing at some
of the USA Shooting events to prepare him for the
USA National Shotgun Team and National Junior
Olympic Championship now that he is older. Wyatt
has not yet chosen a college but we can be sure
that whichever one that he does chose will have a
Shotgun Team.
Good Luck Wyatt Berry and maybe we will be
seeing one of our own at the next Olympics.
