Judy White of
Texas Butane has
been blessed with
eight grandchildren
and one great-grandchild. She has three
sons and all of them
but one had girls.
Her eldest is Rod who is the father of
four daughters: Rainey (26), Rylee (21),
Reanna (15) and Rendy (13). Rod’s
oldest daughter is the mother of Judy’s
first great-grandchild, Brooklyn (5). Her
middle son Todd is father to daughters
Skylar (23) and Taylar (18). Her youngest, Judd, has two children, Charlie at 3,
who is the only boy, and Eliza Gail at 2.
Little Brooklyn makes 10 generations in
Parker County. “Grandkids are the best
part of it,” Judy said. “You get to play with
them, have fun with them, and send them
home and teach them ornery things. You
don’t have to tell them no.” Considering
the sheer number of grandkids Judy
boasts, we had to narrow it down to two.
Charlie told us that he loves her because
“she lets me play and makes me happy.”
When we asked Taylar what the best part
about her “Juju” was, she had this to say:
“Not only does my “Juju” love and support
me unconditionally, but she is everything I
aspire to in a role model. I hope to follow
in her footsteps when I am older and make
her proud.”
