The two rodeo events hosted
by the Posse along with rental of its
clubhouse contribute to the operating funds of the group and its charitable activities. The Ranch Rodeo is
September 11 and 12 at the Sheriff’s
Posse Grounds, 2251 Mineral Wells
Hwy in Weatherford. Three different
performances of the rodeo will be
held, Friday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday
at 10:30 a.m. and Saturday night at
7:30 p.m. A parade will be held on
Saturday, Sept. 12 beginning at 9 a.m.
After the Saturday night Ranch Rodeo,
Jake Hooker will perform. Tickets are
$10 and children 10 and under are
free. Tickets purchased for either Saturday rodeo performance include all
day admission and the concert. Come
out and support the Posse who has
such a rich tradition of supporting the
Parker County community in so many
ways and see a great rodeo.
