to express oneself. It builds confidence and increases poise. I love how any style of dance, anywhere in the world, brings people together. Dance generates a sense of unity between strangers. It’s a beautiful part of life. PCT: Tell us your favorite Perfect Pointe Dance Supply story? SC: Oh, there have been numerous occasions that are forever engrained in my memory since Perfect Pointe Dance Supply opened! My store is very child friendly and laid back, always a good opportunity for memorable events. One of the days I had both of my girls there during the recital rush, they both worked together by rearranging all the tights and strategically hiding Cheeze-It’s and French fries throughout the store. When a few of my guest found them, they laughed and totally understood that this is the comical part of being a working mother.    PCT: What is something you are looking forward to in the coming months? SC: The future holds so many exciting opportunities for Perfect Pointe Dance Supply to make a positive impact in our community! I’m looking forward to building new relationships amongst our local dance studios, gymnastic centers, cheerleading squads and fitness groups. I love being able to provide convenience by conducting personal fittings and direct delivery. These days, everyone has a busy schedule between hours of practice, school and family life. I want everyone to feel relaxed when they come visit Perfect Pointe Dance Supply. It is like a place you can come to talk and take a breather. PCT: What is your advice for those who are considering getting into dance? SC: If you are considering enrolling yourself or a child in dance, go for it. Dance is great for the mind, body and soul for all ages. Dance allows one to be creative and express individuality while having fun and staying physically fit. Dance, gymnastics and cheer will also teach skills and qualities that will help with success in life. If you are enrolling your child, make sure they are comfortable with the teacher and facility they are practicing at. This is where the majority of their time will be spent, so you must enjoy the atmosphere. PCT: What is something you have learned over the years that has helped you in growing your business? SC: I think every event/experience in my life has in some way prepared me for the path of owning my own business. I have learned to always look forward and keep working hard. Like everything, there will always be challenges. I’m a strong person who is able to overcome obstacles and excel at whatever I focus on.  Using a combination of my creativity, compassion to help others, education and experience as a dancer/cheerleader, I will continue to create a comfortable retail atmosphere that people will forever remember.  Cost Effective Solutions Short-Term Cash Flow Quick Approval Process Senior Partner Office: 817-757-7764 | 888-617-7775 | Cell: 817-480-5224 www.interfacefinancial.com/bedinger | [email protected] PA R K E R C O U N T Y T O D AY Interface is the leading alternative funding source for small business ...
