Thomas (Tommy) J. Williams Tommy is a portable tool repair technician.   PCT: If you could have lunch with anyone, living or dead in history, who would it be?  GR: Norman Borlaug, Father of the Green Revolution PCT: If you had to do another job other than what you’re doing, what would you do?  GR: I can’t imagine doing anything else. PCT: What’s the best piece of advice you would give? GR: Find an occupation you’re passionate about and you’ll never work a day in your life. PCT: What is your definition of the best day ever?  GR: Spending an April or May day at the ranch along the Brazos River taking in the sight, sounds and smells of God’s creation. PCT: What is the coolest thing you have done in your life?  GR: Being a father and grandfath er. 72 PCT: What’s the best piece of advice you would give? TW: Trust in the Lord, live a good life. GR: Hard work and generosity GR: Influencing a young person to pursue a career in agriculture or veterinary medicine and attend Texas A&M. PCT: What is your definition of the best day ever?  TM: When one of my Grandchildren gives me a hug! PCT: What is the coolest thing you have done in your life? TW: Married my wife and raised a family. GR: I cry every time I watch It’s a Wonderful Life. PCT: What’s your favorite way to pay it forward? would you do?  TW: Ministry, visiting the sick and hospitalized for the church. Donna is the Chief Nursing Officer at Medical City Weatherford PCT: How did you get into your occupation? TW: Mechanical and tool and die experience, working from the time I was very young. PCT: What is your favorite book? TW: The Bible PCT: What do you do to decompress? TW: Spending time with family and friends, laughter PCT: What is something people don’t know about you? TW: My fear of failure! PCT: What would you most like to be remembered for? TW: Being a good person, good husband and a good daddy to my three children. PCT: What’s your favorite way to pay it forward? TW: Helping people with a hand up … not a handout. PCT: If you could have lunch with anyone, living or dead in history, who would it be?  TW: My Mother! PCT: If you had to do another job other than what you’re doing, what Parker County Today: How did you get into your occupation? DB: My mother was a nurse, so I grew up with an interest in health- care. Weatherford College afforded me the opportunity to launch my nursing education close to home. Forty-four years later, I can still say I have enjoyed every day of it (some more than others.)   PCT: What is your favorite novel? DB: Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. Always a good read, regard- less of how many times you have read it previously.
