Aledo High School  Valedictorian  Madison Wyss  GPA — 108.678 Parents — Jim and Carla Wyss Madison will begin her next c hapter Mary Katherine devotes her free time to volunteering for various organi- zations such as East Parker County Library. Every summer she volunteers at Vacation Bible School, MHMR, Angel Tree, Run Walk or Crawl, and she enjoys helping at Vandagriff Elementary. Victory Baptist Academy 60 studying business at the University of Texas at Austin (McCombs School of Business). She is the President of Leading Ladies, Secretary of National Honor Society, a member of the Future Business Leaders of America, co-captain of the Varsity Golf Team and a member of the student council.  In her spare time, she volunteers with her church and has gone on mission trips to El Salvador and Nassau, Bahamas. She volunteers for Middle School Ministries, serves as a small group leader at Christ Chapel and participates in other high school ministries.  Her father is an attorney and her mom is “The best mom this side of the Mississippi.”  Salutatorian  Mary Katherine Gamez GPA — 106.86810 Parents — George and Jennifer Gamez Mary Katherine will be leaving the Valedictorian  Mikayla Meyers GPA – 4.07 Parents – Dixon Myers and Tammy Myers Mikayla will stay in Weatherford to obtain her associate’s degree before heading to Dallas Baptist University where she will earn her bachelor’s degreein English in order to teach high school language arts after college. She has attended Victory Baptist for the past five years and credits her parents for always being her biggest supporters and for helping her make her biggest decisions in life. She is thankful beyond words for Hannah, her twin sister and best friend. She is a member of the American Christian Honor Society, Student Council, Junior Ambassadors of Weatherford, Drama Club, and choir. Mikayla volunteers not only in her community, but in the surround- ing area as well. She participated in Miracle League as a helper, was involved in Operation Christmas Child, volunteered doing bell-ringing for the Salvation Army, picked up trash around Lake Weatherford, handed out valentines to widows at a nursing home, worked with The Center of Hope, volunteered at a company picnic for USA Shade, made food bags at North Texas Food Bank and volunteered at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.  “Thank you to all of my teachers for helping me get to this point in high school, and for preparing me for my future in college,” Mikayla said.  Salutatorian  Tessa Catuto GPA – 4.0 Parents – Robert Catuto Jr. and Patricia Catuto Tessa has been a student at Victory Baptist Academy for 11 years. She will soon be on her way to Pensacola Christian College where she will major in Business – TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language). She praises her older brother, Robbie Catuto. “[He] has always helped me to stay on God’s path for my life,” she said.  Tessa is a member of American Christian Honor Society, Drama Club and Student Council. She also volun- teers at Miracle League, Center of Hope, and she participates in school trash pick-up days as well as in her church’s community outreach.
