PCT: If you had to do another job
than what you’re doing, what would
you do?
DL: Event planner
PCT: What is your definition of the
best day ever?
DL: A day that I get to spend time
with my family. I have wonderful
parents, a great sister and brother-in-
law, and the cutest nephew.
PCT: What’s the best piece of advice
you would give?
DL: We all make bad decisions in
our lives, but we shouldn’t let the
bad decisions define us. The defining
moment comes from how we react to
the bad decisions.
PCT: What is the coolest thing you
feel you have done in your life?
DL: I went to Stonehenge the summer
of 2017. It was really special because
we got to walk around inside the
stone circle.

Parker County Today: How did you
get into your occupation?
JD: Around 2001, I began working
part-time for a couple local attorneys.
I had several friends that were part of
my running team that worked for the
county. When the court coordinator
position was posted, my friends re-
ferred me. At the time, Judge Don
Chrestman was the judge of the court
and he took a huge chance on me.
I’m forever grateful to him. I now
work for Judge Craig Towson and he
