years and have flown all over the world. HJ: I would love to be a forensic psychologist to try to better under- stand why criminals do the things they do. PCT: What would you most like to be remembered for? CC: My friends would say my compassion. I’ll say because I giggle snort when I laugh. PCT: What is your definition of the best day ever?  HJ: Spending time with my family and friends. PCT: What’s your favorite way to pay it forward? CC: I volunteer for several civic orga- nizations. PCT: What’s the best piece of advice you would give? HJ: Laugh, even when you want to cry, because laughing is the best way to get through life. Everything that seems big will one day be small. PCT: If you could have lunch with anyone, living or dead in history, who would be? CC: My mother PCT: If you had to do another job than what you’re doing, what would you do? CC: I’d study psychology. PCT: What is your definition of the best day ever? CC: The birth of my grand children is always a pretty good day. PCT: What’s the best piece of advice you would give? CC: James 1:19 –“My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Every- one should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.” PCT: What is the coolest thing you have done in your life? CC: I’ve camped in the Swiss Alps. Heather Johnson Heather is realtor for with HBS Real Estate. She was also a 2018 Bachelorette. PCT: What is something people don’t know about you? HJ: People might not know that I got my degree from Baylor in psychology and criminal justice. Tiffany Vanzant Tiffany is a corporal for the Weatherford Police Department PCT: What would you most like to be remembered for? HJ: I would love for people to remember me for my compassion and desire to be a voice for homeless animals. PCT: What’s your favorite way to pay it forward? HJ: I like to pay it forward in any opportunity I can, whether it be with Parker Paws, at the Center of Hope, or Habitat for Humanity. I know how blessed I am and I want to help others feel just as blessed. PCT: If you could have lunch, living or dead in history, who would it be? HJ: I would love to have lunch with Barbara Corcoran because I look up to her work ethic, tenacity, and success in making a name for herself. PCT: If you had to do another job than what you’re doing, what would you do? Parker County Today: How did you get into your current occupation? TV: I was a stay at home mom who was looking to start a career and thought that police work would be fun and rewarding. My degree at UTA required an internship and I was placed at Arlington Police Department in the victim’s assis- tance department. I then, with zero police experience, decided to apply as an officer at APD and see if it was meant to be. Much to my surprise, I was hired. After a short maternity break in 2014, I moved back to my PCT: What is your favorite novel? HJ: I don’t particularly have a favorite book, but I love anything that has a PCT: What do you do to decompress? HJ: When the day really gets me stressed, I love to go to the gym to work out or take my dog out on a run. Parker County Today: How did you get into your occupation?  HJ: I’ve always loved houses and looking at the different styles. I was told to do something I love and what better way than to help people buy and sell their houses. good mystery to be solved. PCT: What is the coolest thing you have done in your life?  HJ: The coolest thing I have done was snorkeling in Antigua. It was so refreshing and exhilarating to be able to be up close and personal with marine life and to see them in their natural environment. 85
