DF: I decompress by watching TV and holding my best friend “Lady Bug” or throwing her ball. She thinks I am great! She is pretty great too.  PCT: What is something people don’t know about you? DF: My husband and I once owned a chicken farm. We had four chicken houses that held 28,000 chickens at a time. We received newly hatched chicks and kept them until it was time for them to lay. I would love to be able to talk to him.  PCT: If you had to pursue another career, other than the one you have now, what would you do?  DF: This one is easy. I would be a veterinarian. I absolutely love animals. I can’t think of anything better than spending my day help- ing animals and the people who love them.  PCT: What’s the best piece of advice you would give to someone starting out in your field?  DF: In this business, we see people who are going through a bad time in their life. I received this advice a very long time ago and try never to forget it ... mine might be the only smile they see today. I believe we have to stay understanding and try to be helpful.  PCT: What is the coolest thing you have done in your life?  DF: I don’t really feel like I’ve done anything cool.
