a referral – and that’s just what Jamie Mittendorf did for
Jeri’s Back Home Bakery for years, making near-addicts
out of friends and family. But when the bakery went up for sale
in February, Jamie rose beyond the call of a loyal customer and
rallied her sweet-tooth troops to make an offer that owner Jeri
Lionberger couldn’t refuse. Fast-forward six months after closing
the sale and Jamie, her sister Erin Thiem and friend Amy Kramer
are realizing a new dream.
