Brock Archery Team Coach Kelly McDonald Although in 5,000-years’ time, guns have largely replaced the historic weapon on the battlefield, enthusiasts have kept archery alive in sport. One program maintaining the practice’s vitality is just 8 miles west of Weatherford. At Brock ISD, students grades 4-12 don’t go a day without practice, spending class time, mornings and afternoons, honing the ancient skill. Brock Archery Team competes through the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP).
