PCT: What is the mission of your practice?
MA: My mission is to have patients take better
care of themselves. I see a lot of patients that are
so busy taking care of others that they let their
health suffer. They should know that “an ounce of
prevention is worth a pound of cure.”
PCT: What is the most interesting thing about your
practice/how you care for your patients?
MA: What’s most interesting are the patients
themselves. There are so many personalities and
so many colorful stories. I really enjoy seeing how
people interact with each other.
PCT: What is it about your career and the way
you take care of your patients that is your greatest
source of pride?
MA: I am proud to be the first person in my family
to graduate from college, and I take pride in being
easy to talk to ... that can be tough to find in a
doctor sometimes.
PCT: What is the best thing about your staff?
MA: The best thing about my staff is that they are
friendly and hard working and enjoy what they do.

PCT: Why should patients choose to go to you for
their healthcare needs?
MA: I'd say that patients should come see me
because I know what I'm doing, I have a great staff
and an easy-going nature.
PCT: Where are you from?
MA: I was born in south Texas, but grew up in
Dallas. My family moved there when I was two
years old, and they are still there. I'm the “black
sheep“ that moved away!
PCT: How did you end up in Weatherford?
MA: A friend of mine was telling me how happy
he was to work with Weatherford Regional, so I
looked into it and th e rest is history as they say.
