PARKER COUNTY AG Skylar Smith Skylar Smith is a Parker County home town girl and is definitely sugar, spice and everything nice. In the past, she was one of the Fort Worth Ballet company dancers, performing at the Bass Hall’s Nutcracker. Now she shows off her many talents in the show ring, showing goats and crops for three years now, and continues to show throughout her senior year at Brock High school. She now shows her dapple doe goat named “Gotta Getta Goat”. She has won showmanship and was first in her class at this past year Parker County Livestock Show. When Skylar is now showing, she’s a Brock Varsity Cheerleader, member of FFA and Springcreek 4H. She’s also a proud member of the National Honor Society. Skylar attributes all her talent to her family and they are very supportive in her many ventures as a young teenager. She plans on attending TCU after she graduates in May 2019, getting her degree in business and interior design. Skylar has a very bright future ahead of her. She says she would not be able to accomplish all that she has without the help of family and friends. She also claims that in today’s world, all young kids are always busy on their phone or computers, but she says I really don’t have time for all that. “I have to be focused on my school work and my future if I want to get ahead in life and be successful at it,” she said. This girl already has success written all over her.
