She and Beverly Crumbie took art lessons from Fort Worth artist Veta Burnett from the age of 9 to 18. Marilyn made her spending money in junior high and high school from selling her art. She is an active member of Weatherford Art Association and has served on the Board. She loves sharing the facilities at Brumley Printing where she and her friends show their work. Charming and colorful describe Patricia Harder’s watercolor paint- ings, and flowers are her favorite subject. Patricia taught junior high in California, owned a decorating busi- ness in New Mexico, wrote for news- papers on homes and decorating, was an antique dealer, has painted for twenty-five years, and been a Bible teacher 30 years. She was a member of the Fort Worth Woman’s Club and served on the Art Department Board. Presently she is a member of Society of Watercolor Artists and Weatherford Art Association, where she was a past president and vice president in charge of programs. Another interior decorator, Beverly Crumbie, owned DRC Sales in Fort Worth, which was a retail and custom source for anything for the home-fabrics, draperies, upholstery, etc. She operated her own work- room and had her own installers.
